It seems that sufficient people have praised this pedal for the "you must all be sheep" folks to come out of the woodwork and be contrary.
I'll just say that the Grizzly Bass is my best purchase in a long, long time.
I employ it to SUBTLY use overdrive to warm up and fatten the tone, plus the mid-cut control affects the 800 Hz region, which seems perfect to me. I use GK amps, and the GK "contour" works on 500Hz, which is less than perfect for simply warming up fingerstyle tone. I've been setting my amps (400RB, 1001RB or MB200) flat, cranking the volume and tone on my P-Bass, and using the Grizzly Bass as the complete sound shaper. On the very rare occasions that I want ruder overdrive or distortion, it does that, too.
I'm not a pedal expert, and that's why I love this thing... I can stop searching!
