Any physical hardware based VST compatible pedals?

Any physical pedals out there that you can load and use VST effects on.

Preferable in a smaller multi effect like format.

And of course I mean an independent system, that you wouldn't have to hook up to a computer, other than to get the VST effects for it naturally.

Functionally....that's pretty close to an Eventide H9. You'll need to hook up to a laptop or a smart phone to do mods on the fly but once set up it's a fairly simple procedure to jump through the 100 patch slots available.
 
I think that most of the digital devices (Strymon / Eventide / Source Audio / Boss/ Mod) are all using commercially available or generic DSP's. It' then down to who you want to have programmed / modeled each effect. Personally...Eventide have a far better track record with digital effects than some unknown garage vendor offerings. Looking at the price comparison between the mod and say and Eventide H9 core...the Eventide is a far better priced unit that can be expanded over time.
