Anyone have a Keeley SUPER MOD workstation?

@NortyFiner Hey there! So I actually ended up buying one and after testing it returned it -- YMMV of course, but it's voiced and built for a guitar and my bass signal either overloaded it or just didn't sound good. From what I've read, the Tech 21 all-in-one is the best alternative, but I just built a small pedal board using discrete effects.

I actually bought one, and it did great for me. (Passive bass)

I use it for the ADT type of chorus and the phaser effects primarily. It does exactly what I want for those two effects and in such a small pedalboard space!

It doesn’t really drop any low end for me, but usually when I’m using those effects I’m not playing super low.

I just randomly came to know about them recently and it did better than I expected it would.

I picked one up off craigslist on impulse a few months ago- I primarily use it for the rotary effect, which is decent, and a Reverb, which I pair with a Micro POG for fake organ tones. For that kind of stuff, it’s great, but you’re not gonna get that full-depth syrupy 70s phaser THWOMPF our of it. You also really have to “learn” the pedal, in that the morph control affects a different parameter depending on the effect you’re using, and that it’s hard to remember what effect is what when you’re playing around.

For my money it’s a pretty good solution for boards with limited space, but don’t expect the world.

Yeah, you are right about that. The phaser isn’t really going to do that full syrupy level, but I only wanted a bit of that phaser effect. I usually use phaser on top of some drive, or full-on distortion.

It really is just a collection of “basic” mod effects and none of the banks are really “out there” or “limit pushing” versions of the particular effect, but they each sound good (to me). It’s guaranteed on my bedalboard though, just the Detune Chorus!

(I also sometimes use the Reverb on it for th organ effect on my POG2!)
