Not a thing do I know about’m but, if you get one I’ll gladly take it on loan from you and let you know what I think

I've got a LowEnd T6. I've played a LOT of basses. The LowEnd is one of the finest basses i've had the pleasure to play. The neck reminds me of what a G&L 6-string bass neck would be like. The tone is outrageous. I can play that bass for hours and hours! Love it!

I've played Low End basses and also used their preamp, nice basses & gear. To me, they are the jazz bass that you can find in 6 strings and up. As with any of this stuff, it's all about personal taste and pref. For that kind of coin, I'd suggest trying in person or having some sort of option baked into the deal if you don't love it (ie. you'll cover shipping for a refund if you don't dig the bass).

Thanks for the replies everyone. Fortunately the seller is only 45 minutes from me. So I can actually play it before buying the thing.

Brian @ Low End puts together some great basses. I bought a PJ from him several years ago. The bass was quality but I wasn’t in love with the tone. I ended up trading it back to him for a Suhr J bass.

Really great guy to deal with. His basses typically incorporate options like a 3-band preamp and a brass nut.

If you can try the bass out or get some kind of return policy that would be best, it should be a nice bass.

You would think with what they charge for a bass that they should have money for a .com site and money to pay a designer. That’s a hideous website. I couldn’t stay on there more than 10 seconds, even if I wanted one of their basses.

I bought my DJ4 from Low End. Can't speak to their in house basses but a good group to deal with.
