Yeah, it'll be a 3/4. Wondering what "a great distance" is.
There have been plenty of threads on Engles. I love mine; many love to hate them. But unless you live in the middle of Siberia, or someone is giving you this Engle for free...
In the next state, 330 miles. May not seem like much to some, but it’s a long ways to go to find out it has issues, or to find out it’s not the size I’m after.
No, there’s not much else closer that’s either in my price range or worth looking at.
$3000 and up for decent ones(maybe)or cheap junk.
I’m sorry no one understands that there are just not a lot of options near where I live, but everyone who plays around here has what they want, and aren’t selling…they went out of state to buy what they have, and it’s just not a big selling market.
It’s not Siberia, it’s just the only music stores that carry anything like that, again, either have cheap stuff or that which I cannot afford.
I don’t understand that if you love yours why it’s only worth going after if someone is giving it away.
I’ve read as much good about them as I do bad. It’s probably not everyone’s ideal instrument. I don’t have to have the best, I just need one that plays decent enough that I can live with.
I appreciate the information about the size. I’m going to try it out tomorrow. Of course if there is anything that I feel is wrong with it, or that can’t easily be fixed with a setup, which I have figured in my budget along with strings, then I’ll just turn around and head home and eat the cost of the trip.
Thanks!
