are Fender 15" NEO cabinets same size as the "older" 15" Bassman cabs

As the title asks... Im curious if the dimensions are the same. to "save" money, buy an older early 2000's 15" bassman cabinet for cheap, then load it with a nice Neo speaker ? Paint it up nice, fresh grill cloth, etc. (i like DIY stuff)

If there is porting, you may also want to compare those as well.
There may be other considerations, but that comes to mind as of now.

Haha. I like the way you think though! The bassman cabs from the early 2000’s were like the middle of the road amps and the pro series was the good stuff. Fender likes to make stuff confusing. They made a 115 pro but it wasn’t the same dimensions either. I persoanlly feel like the pro series cabs sound better. They just don’t look as nice and are back breakers. The 610 is the same dimensions.
