Ashdown Mag / ABM cabs

I'm currently running an ABM EVO 900 III head through a Warwick 4X10
The sound is very good and I rarely have the master volume up past half way.

the only problem is I'm not getting any younger and the warwick cab is about 35kgs (77lbs) and I find it a struggle to get in and out of the car sometimes.....
I've had a look at the ABM 4x10 cabs and they are about the same weight

I don't need a huge amount of volume on stage as DI the bass through the desk to FOH

I've been toying with the idea of getting a smaller / lighter combo amp 500w either by itself or wth an extn cab, but then I came across these Mag cabs for sale on a popular NZ buy / sell website
Ashdown Bass Cabs 1x15 and 2x10
Would these cabs be any good with my EVO 900 head - or would the EVO 900 be too powerful for the speakers?
I asked the guys at Ashdown and they said the cabs will be 'ok' with the amp, providing I do not thrash the amp, so I'm assuming that only having the master at halfway is ok? - does anyone have these cabs and can recommend them or an anternative?

thanks in advance

Those MAG cabinets were about the same weight as the ABM 210H and ABM 15 because they were MDF (not plywood).Their speakers were not as good as the ABM speakers. Your amp could drive up to four 8ohm cabinets with two connected to each power amp. The Rootmaster 210 and 212 cabinets weigh about 60 and 70 lbs. The UK Neo 210 costs about $800 in the States. I would save up for those Ashdowns.

thanks for the replies... I think I'll leave the 2 ashdown cabs for the moment...
My local music shop does have a Ampeg 450w combo, that can tilt on the side as a stage monitor and can power an external speaker cab
So I might have a look into that

I've just checked and someone else has already bought the 2 Mag cabs, so I don't have to worry about them any more!
