Hi All,
I own an Avatar B210 cabinet. It is used mainly as an extension to a bass combo.
I want to use the Avatar with either a bass guitar and a keyboard by itself.

So I need to know if there is a specific amp head that you can recommend that is between 50 to 100 watts?

I am thinking that the low tones I use in my keyboard should sound good since I like the sound of the bass guitar with the Avatar. Amp heads can be tube or solid state. Hopefully someone in here has tried this(bass rig with keyboard)

Also I am not concerned about the keyboard needing stereo connectivity. Mono out from a keyboard to the bass head is fine. Can the bass head give me sufficient lows and highs (reggae, drum and bass, funk)

Thanks,
Ian

Mind the left hand. 210 won't make much of those low notes.

Why do you think a "210 won't make much of those low notes"? It's a bass cab: It should handle those lows just fine. (Please don't say it's because 10s only reproduce mids and you need 15s for lows, 'cause that isn't true.)

The problem I see is that the piano needs a full range cabinet to handle the higher notes properly. That said try it and see how it sounds. Back in the day my bands keys, Rhodes and ARP Synths, went though a standard 4x12 without problems.

If OP's Avatar B210 is like mine, it has a tweeter in it with a volume control. I turn the tweeter off completely in my bass rig (I have a pair of those cabs), but he can probably get the highs he needs by turning up the tweeter.

Why don't you just use your bass combo -- or the combo plus the B210 -- as you do for bass? Not clear why you want to use only the 210 and therefore need a new head.

There's an acre of keyboard below bass guitar.

Well your run of the mill kb amp is either a 15 and horn or a 12 and a horn. So, the Avatar should work fine. Fender makes a Rumble 200 head that should match up well with that cab. Only downside to this is that it is only 1 channel and kb amps often have more than one channel to facilitate multiple keyboards. For that I would add a small mixer.
