Avatar B212 Neo 3012LF vs Bergantino 410 vs fearful 1212/6

Hi all,
Just wondering how the Avatar B212 Neo (2x Eminence 3012LF) vs Bergantino 410 neo vs fearful 1212/6
match up.
What are your opinions?
Are the Avatar and the 1212/6 of the same quality, considering they both use 2 Eminence 3012LF?
I can get a good deal on a Avatar B212 new.
Cheers

I am sorry you did not receive a response. I currently own the Fearless 1212/6 and I love it! Very clear sounding, spreads bass everywhere, a lot of low end, plenty of midrange. You have some room to adjust bass tones with this setup. I believe the Fearful has a more aggressive character and more low end here, but they are not too far apart.

Berg 410NEO - AE series or HS series? Or am I missing something? Bergantino cabs have a unique voice to them, but they are quite loud and VERY usable in a band context. They are great cabs and you would definitely get something great here. I have personally played the 410AE and the 410HS. Two amazing cabs with two completely different tones.

Avatar - no experience with that 212, but I have used an older 210 of theirs and was not too impressed. Just simple bass tone, semi-loud, then again....I can't confirm if it was working 100%. To be honest, if you have the money for a Fearful/Fearless, don't bother with Avatar. No offense to Avatar, but it's budget gear that works great for some players. Nothing wrong with that!

No matter what, you should definitely try to track down cabinets to hear for yourself. Take advantage of Guitar Center's Used section and their 30 day return policy. You can try out a lot of gear like that - get it delivered to the store and make the return even easier if necessary. Otherwise, do a road trip and try out whatever you can in person.

Not even close, the Avatar doesn't have a midrange. You can get by without one if the tweeter goes down to at least 2500 hz, with at least 18dB filtering, but the Avatar Foster tweeter only goes to around 4000 hz, and the 12dB filter isn't enough to protect it from damage.

The Avatar and 1212/6 are not equivalent. There are a lot of refinements in the fEARful cab that the avatar can't touch. It is not just the speakers that make the cab.

The Berg cabs are a different animal from the fEARful. They have different design goals, and both hit their own targets pretty squarely. You would need to be more specific about what you are looking for out of a bass cab to get feedback which is meaningful to your search.

I thought 212 neo used 3012ho's but the website says LF. Odd choice for a full range cab with no mid.

I had an avatar b212 neo. Got it used for $250 IIRC and for that price it's a good cab but not fearless or berg class.
