Does the Babicz rest on top of the anchors like the stock bridge or does it actually make full Contact with the body?
I installed it and there’s about an 8” gap under it. It’s sitting on top of the bushing anchors. Is this correct?

Does the Babicz rest on top of the anchors like the stock bridge or does it actually make full Contact with the body?

Interesting. I would think the bridge is recessed for the bushings to sit in, like the Hipshot, making for full contact with the body.
That’s what I thought when I bought it... but it don’t. Unless I’m doing something wrong. I’m probably going to drill out the holes on the shim so it sits flush then mount the bridge so it does make full contact.

I remember reading somewhere that the metric hardware on Epi’s doesn’t fit the Babicz. I think you had to change out to Gibson stuff? Try the Thunderbird Club. Someone there will know.
