I am building a 4 using my first Babicz bridge. I contacted customer "support" several days ago and no response at all. Not a good sign.
Simple question for those of you that have used these. How far from the zero fret do you place the bridge?
The distance from the zero fret to the leading edge of the bridge would be great. Thanks ..Tom

IMHO, non-expert hobbyist: Scale measurement, whatever you're aiming for and the frets are spaced for would be that number from the zero to the G, or highest string saddle. Allow for 1/8-3/16 inch further adjustment forward toward the zero for that saddle. The other saddles will be spaced further from the zero.
I assume you have your plan on aligning the new bridge set.

Here's the deal: I measured my Babicz-equipped Carvin (34" scale) from the leading edge of the nut (sorry, no zero fret) to the leading edge of the bridge. Appears to be 33 3/8" and the intonated G & D saddles are falling in right at 34" so there's your corroboration.

Need more dope? Let me know!

Not that this helps, but...
