Double Bass Barefaced Super Mini T

Anyone using this as a cab? I’ve decided my separates are going to be best for me. I have a Focus SIII. I have a Felix on the way and plan to bypass the preamp and use the Grace, in effect just using the Focus power amp. Looking to pickup a couple of cabs and two of these seem a pretty good match. Anyone using one?

Double Bassists on Talkbass used to rave about them. There were/are lots of folks over on the EB side
who can’t say enough about them. I have a slight concern when I buy gear from overseas, that if it should have an issue
shipping it back and forth can will be expensive. I know one player from England who has owned them in the past and liked them.
As long as you have a U.S. dealer to work with that shouldn’t be a problem. I heard a rumor that Alex was entertaining building
a powered version of one of his cabinets. Not sure it got past the “thinking” stage.

I have the Barefaced big baby. I have never even came close to pushing the cabinet and think I could have maybe gotten away with the Super Mini. You can check it out Tuesday. I love it. It is super clean and light weight for what it is. We play with a lot of the same drummers and there is no way a 10" speaker is gonna cut it...

That was my experience with GR Bass

Awesome! I’ll be there a little later but I think you hit second so plenty of time. Can’t wait to check it out. What head are you running?

Can't comment on DB use, but with electric, the Super Mini is so loud that I almost never have to use two of them - playing with a hard hitting drummer and pushing the lows, the cab feels comfortable on its own.
You can compare the output of a single barefaced 12" cabinet with most production 212 cabs.
