Bass guitar 3 Output Signal?

I'm a big fan of John Myung. In his latest rig, I found out that he uses 3 output.
The signal first to compressor and then overdrive as his main sound. From there, it goes to 3 signal chain with splitter :
1. First signal goes through to VOG to add fatness
2. Second signal goes through to DI
3. Third signal goes to Amp fx loop with Fractal FX and midi controller

I know this is a stupid question. Maybe could someone told me exactly what he wants to achieve?
As far as I knew, there is a difference between dual mono and stereo, Does his setup could be called triple mono?

I'm using Hx stomp as heart of my rig, is there any possibility for mimicking his setup with hx stomp? No need for 100% exactly the same setup, but maybe 90% exactly what he wants to achieve

Thanks in advance!

John is a deliberate man and likely collaborates with the band's very talented audio techs to craft his sound. The VOG is great for tuning the perfect bass resonance for a venue or track, the dry DI is to mix with the effected signal, this is a common tactic for retaining clarity and control especially in an effects heavy situation as JM play's in.
Having access to these three signals makes it easier for the monitor and FOH sound techs to craft the right sound and easily correct or enhance as needed. It also makes it easier to create the separate mixes for each player's monitor or in-ear.

I do not pan it either way. I stack the cabs. Neck pu/bass on the bottom and bridge pu/treble on the top. Effects are usually on the treble pu only.
I don’t do it for the “stereo” effect. I do it for control of my tone.
So your bottom signal would have zero treble setting on amp, also zero bass setting on your top signal?
