Bass repairs / Ubasses

So my Bass bridge pickup completely quit, and I've determined it's a new solderjob that's needed. Seeing as it's still under warranty it's off for a new solder, and pickup if necessary. In the mean time since for some reason Rondo Musics' website can't take my debit card (weird right?) I've decided to construct my own uBass! Currently I'm thinking and drawing up a Viola or Exlorer style body, mainly because the regular super strat design is just worn out for me...that and $500+ for a Kala is just too much for me at the moment.

Thoughts?

You can convert the Rondo into a different style body easy enough. Look up TB'er Kohanmike. He has a bunch of them he has made up. Fender's Gibson, Rickenbacker's, Tutmarc.

Did you call them? If it don't work from the computer it will more than likely work over the phone. I've had to do that several times making purchases online, and I shop online a lot!

Edit: Or better yet open a paypal account. It just takes a few minutes and is very secure. I just checked Rondo site and they take paypal.

After soooo much trying I finally got it to take my paypall! Standard shipping and all hopefully I get it by this friday :D..hopefully :D if it arrives needing work (but sounding and playing decently) It might be an opportunity to learn how to do fretwork and polishing :D.
