Bassics bpa-1 problem….fried because effects loop?!

Hello! I have a bassics bpa-1 which I love….has a prob. I was using a zoom b1xon i plugged into the effects loop of the bassics preamp. Sounds ok and no prob. Then the preamp shut down. Checked the cable …..the off on switch…..everything looks still ok. No burning smell. Wondering if the zoom inthe effects loop fried the pedal some how . Also checked the fuse…..looks ok. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi, have you checked the FX loop jacks? I run into similar problems with mine, and the technician found out the faulty return jack was the culprit. It works just fine after he changed it.

Man….I hope….but it prob isn’t the issue. The bpa-1 controls light up when turned on….since it stopped working….nothing comes on at all…gonna have to take it to get looked at..
