Big glass harp and keaggy fan here. I've seen him live 3-4 times and he never disappoints.
Most likely herb melton who played for keaggy in those days with "a band called David". Great 3 LP titled how the west was won. That or Dan Cunningham who was on the next LP titled emerging.

Just found out... It is Lee Jones. Glass Harp was such a good band. Dan Pecchio is such a good player as well.
Keaggy is an excellent, and woefully underrated guitarist and songwriter. Hadn't heard his proggy rock before. Cool!
How the West was Won is a GREAT album. Thanks for posting, haven't heard this in years!

yes that is a great album is are the Glass harp records (self titled, synergy, live at carnegie, etc).
Listening to Herb Melton now.....great pocket player. Daniel Pecchio is on one of my favorite live albums; Michael Stanley Band "Stage Pass". Great music!

Pecchio was an early influence of mine; I learned all the Glass Harp stuff back in the day. I first saw them in 1971, opening up for Humble Pie.
