Been meaning to post this for weeks but traveling for work got in the way.
I'm no BassCliff so bear with me on this first gig post.
Sundays can be long since we start with an early Sound Check
Here's my Gear
Valenti Jazz Bass (Nino builds amazing instruments). 64 Audio A4 IEMS...love em! Running direct to the board into two channels (one for the line arrays and one for the subs under the stage)
Vocalists warming up. That's Jason Daniels, Our Worship Pastor, on Keyboard
William on Electric (Lead & Rhythm)
Aaron on Acoustic (bad case of acoustic jam face)
And Justin on Electric
Angel on Drums, An amazing drummer and he also triggers our loops and click in our IEM's
Lighting Check (from the rear of the worship center)
And Media Check
Old guy on bass.
Welcome to the Worship Center
Always a smiling face to greet you ... Beth Says welcome.
These folks can help with any directions or information you need. (That's Pastor Richard. He's a jack of all trades and wearer of interesting shirts
And now it's time to get started
On Easter and other special events the choir joins with the praise team. They really energize the special music!
This is Beverly. She leads the choir so Jason can focus on keys and leading worship. She even got used to the IEM's......eventually.
This is Patty. One of our praise team singers...and Jason's wife.
Kristen is an amazing singer (one of my favorite voices ever). She grew up with my daughter and is married to Aaron our acoustic player.
.................and she's also Beverly's daughter
Steve's another one of our praise team singers. He has one of those voices sound people love. Sits in the mix without a lot of tweaking and when he leans into it cuts through without having to push him hard.
This is Kim. Another cool voice.....and married to Steve. There's a reason we're called Middle Georgia's Family Church.
As BC says that's 20 so on to the next post
