 Been meaning to post this for weeks but traveling for work got in the way.
I'm no BassCliff so bear with me on this first gig post.

Sundays can be long since we start with an early Sound Check
Here's my Gear
Valenti Jazz Bass (Nino builds amazing instruments). 64 Audio A4 IEMS...love em! Running direct to the board into two channels (one for the line arrays and one for the subs under the stage)

And now it's time to get started
Easter.jpg

On Easter and other special events the choir joins with the praise team. They really energize the special music!

Choir 2.jpg

This is Beverly. She leads the choir so Jason can focus on keys and leading worship. She even got used to the IEM's......eventually.

This is Patty. One of our praise team singers...and Jason's wife.
Patty.jpg

Kristen is an amazing singer (one of my favorite voices ever). She grew up with my daughter and is married to Aaron our acoustic player.
.................and she's also Beverly's daughter
Kristen (2).jpg

Steve's another one of our praise team singers. He has one of those voices sound people love. Sits in the mix without a lot of tweaking and when he leans into it cuts through without having to push him hard.

This is Kim. Another cool voice.....and married to Steve. There's a reason we're called Middle Georgia's Family Church.:D

As BC says that's 20 so on to the next post

It takes a large technical team to get everything done at The Assembly....

No this isn't Santa Claus it's Greg our lighting director. He's served in technical ministries for over 20 years.

Becky controls our media display

Jay directs our live stream and camera team...and he's married to Becky

Shannon interacts with the folks who attend by live stream answering questions and providing spiritual and prayer support

Jason is a fantastic worship leader. He gets the congregation to engage in the praise & worship portion and prepares us to hear from the Word.

Hi,

Looks like a great team. Make a joyful noise!

Do I see Aviom units for your IEM mix? I like working with those.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
Thanks Cliff
Yes those are Avioms. My next purchase will be one of the A360 models that offer a lot more adjustability and will mix in some ambient sound. Also lets me go wireless with the mix back feature in our system.

That's a fantastic post, would love to hear that ensemble ... I especially like that Valenti bass you are using. Very nice. In one of the shots it looks like there two bass players in the group? I know the Lord works in mysterious ways, did he perhaps provide nourishment for the band? pix please ;)

Hi Mr dbase
There's only one bass player. Maybe a guitar player caught at an odd angle. I've asked them to rip an audio or video from the Live Feed Archives.
As for food... Every Sunday their are donuts, coffee and other drinks at the 6040 Café in the foyer. Fellowship is a major focus at the Assembly so folks are encouraged to grab a coffee and sit and visit before /after service. Their are tables in the foyer and on the adjoining patio.
Here's a picture o the café empty.

And yes the Valenti is a killer. When I acquired it in a trade I thought it would be with me until I got another Roscoe. That was almost 5 years ago.

Thanks for sharing! I've been trying to get my wife to take pics of me playing at church for a LONG time. She is kind of intimidated by my camera (Nikon d800) even though it can do auto exposure.

I really wish our worship team would go back to "real band distance" as we are also spread over the platform - probably 50+ feet from the percussionist to the B3. I guess it "looks" better, though and IEM's do make it bearable. The core members of the band (electric guitar, piano, drums and bassists) have been together for 12 years now. Two bassists, so I play every other Sunday and we use Planning Center. Less range of music than in the past - we used to do some urban gospel but that has not been in the rotation for a couple of years.

We went to the "no amps on stage" craze a couple of years ago (with the change in sound) and the other bassist and I both use a pedalboard to make up for the loss. I LOVE Darkglass and Red Witch pedals and use the VMTD, Super Symmetry and Factotum and the Wonderlove.

Christmas picture (I also do photography for the church) - percussion is on the FAR left and the B3 and second guitarist are under the right side of the right-hand screen.
