BC RICH Bass date of manufacturing?

I’m trying to figure out what year this bass is. I’m not even sure what model it is. Some of the things I see say it could be a gunslinger?
I bought it from Bruce Turgon when I was on tour with Lou Gramm’s solo tour as a bass and drum tech in about 1985.
He was sponsored by BC Rich, and he got tons of different basses from them. All crazy colors. Some of them were custom jobs. He sold me this one for I think 500 bucks

Anyway, it’s a really cool bass and it plays like butter. Solid as a rock and weighs as much. The active Electronics with two pick ups makes it very versatile.

Here are some pics, let me know if you have any info on this bass. Thanks!

I have a Heritage Classic Mockingbird that I've tried and tried to find info on when it was built per the serial number (73043xx) but no one seems to know anything about how to decipher that. I'm speculating that the 04 part of the number is the year of manufacture based on that I picked it up used in around 2015 but that's just a WAG. I've read that BC Rich wasn't too great at keeping track of serial numbers like many other manufacturers do and I've tried contacting them directly but never been able to get a reply. If anyone out there knows how to decipher the serial number or how to otherwise date the instrument that info would be appreciated.

I did lots of digging, and looks like this was probably made sometime between '86 and '88. Another TB thread says the basses from '89-'93 all had a TM on the headstock. Yours does not. I only see this particularly model, the Gunslinger, starting in the '86 catalogue. So, process of elimination says '86-'88. As far as the serial number goes, I haven't found anything about these 4-digit numbers, sadly. Maybe bass was different, but BC Rich themselves only has info on 5-digit serial numbers. Given your info on the seller, '86 seems plausible.
