Just an idle question on a June Sunday.
I have my eye out for a Bergantino NV212T and was just wondering how many might be out there in the wild.
I have been looking for used ones, but I just don't see any yet.
I am looking for one to give me the NV610 sealed cab kick in a smaller package, but the cheap b**tard in me does not want to pay the full new cost for one.

I see several folks here have got them and are gigging them with good results.
Wonder when I can expect them to show up in the used market ?
I may have to break down and pop for a new one though, my gear fund is overflowing :D

good luck brother
may the quickest fingers prevail

After much thought, I'm giving up my first called "dibbs" to you. :)

I like the thought of going smaller with a 212 cabinet (I'm now gigging two 210 cabinets stacked as a vertical 410) but I really don't think a 212 will do what I'd be asking from it with the LOUD, busy group I work with.
My two 210's are JUST enough for most of our jobs (always have FOH), and the larger, out-door stages I could really use more.

cool:thumbsup:
I still have yet to see one come up used though.

I have found size/weight and tonal bliss with a Berg CN212, and use it for 90% of my gigs. I also pretty much always have at least some FOH support for bass, so its really just my stage monitor/fill (pretty nice one at that too!). I do have bigger stuff around (NV610 and LDS 2x15) if the gig calls for it, or a BL just wants a bigger look on stage which happens but is rare.

I find myself wanting to hear a good sealed cab sound (old school punchy low mid thing without a ton going on below 50-60hz) in a smaller format than the NV610 and the NV212T sounds like it would fit the bill, particularly with the tweet turned waay down or off.

I have hesitated buying one new because of the aforementioned cheap b**tard issue, as well as the fact that I don't really NEED one, it just seems like a cool idea.

I use the different Berg NV cabinets to achieve a specific tone depending on the gig and the bass I play. I used the NV412 last for a college-basketball-size gymnasium gig with an SVT, and the sound engineer stated I was even a little too loud. Maybe the 212 maybe a better fit for next time.

I use the NV212T weekly. It's a nice compromise between the 15 and the 10 in tone. It's a nice compromise in size and portability relative to the NV115 and the full size NV cabs.
