Has anyone worked with the method book series Technique de la contrebasse by Bernard Salles? I have never seen it anywhere and I can't find any previews online. According to Gaelen McCormick it is supposed to "fill in missing elements of the standard pedagogy", or what was standard pedagogy in the late 90s. Might be interesting for some students, but I am not going to buy it without a preview or hearing from somebody who has had some experience with it.

The books are published by Billaudot. Are you in the USA? You can order them from sheetmusicplus.com. Expensive, cuz they come from France.

Thanks, but getting the books isn't really a problem. I'd like to know about experiences with the method, since there are no previews anywhere. Not even a table of contents.

Maybe you can get McCormick to help you out since she has and uses the method. I'd like to know what the "missing elements of the standard pedagogy" are.
You might even try to contact Salles via his website and see if he'll send you a sample or table of contents. bernardsalles.com
