I've been trying to find some slinky GHS Boomer bass strings that are thick enough to tune down to drop b (B F# B E) and drop a (A E A D). What gauges would each of the strings have to be in order for me to do this on a 4-string bass?

You can download our bass string tension guide here, but based on the tension of a standard 45-105 set of Bass Boomers, these are the gauges you'd probably want.

4 String Drop B:
E - DYB55 (44.4lb)
B - DYB75 (45.3lb)
F# - DYB95 (47.8lb)
B - DYB140 (39.8lb)

4 String Drop A:
D - DYB60 (42.7lb)
A - DYB80 (45.0lb)
E - DYB105 (42.2lb)
A - DYB145 (32.7lb)

I highly recommend a .145 for A, it works fine at B too.
I assume you're switching between these tunings on one bass? If so Jon's 2nd suggestion will be too tight in drop B, i would say 145 95 75 55.
