I am currently attempting a repair on a DB neck,snapped off at the heel.
The heel itself is 6.5'' long.
Could you suggest some Lag screw sizes please?
The central one :I take it the Shankn[roughly 1 2/4'' thru this neck to the start of the joint] should be flush or just past the beginning of the joint with the srew part entering the Heel.
How deep does the screw need to go? At least 3.5''?
The two at either side:Same Shank size,angled but maybe 2.5'' screw length?
Or should the outer ones be longer,or,all the same?
As the Heel tapers inwards,maybe the outside ones should be thinner than the central one?
What is the key to getting this part of the repair sorted?
