I’m wondering what is the best lightweight bass head and neo cab “In Your OPINION” {Emphasis Added}. The music world has turned to the light, weight cabs and heads as its preference for clubbing and concert venues. I’m curious as to what bassists think is the best.

Peavey Headliner 1000...

my favorite because it's rack size, extremely powerful, mono, simple controls, no tubes, and only 10lbs... everything I want in a head and nothing I don't. :)

I simply can't pick one neo cab- I have a few that are awesome for different reasons, but I know there are plenty out there I'd like equally. :)

I think the BEST is the one amp/cab combination that makes one break into a large silly grin every time they play through it.
Try some out to see what you think; your post will likely draw players to post what they themselves own, not what is best to your ears.

peavey has always been great Love them. Such an underrated company

I play through a Mesa Boogie TT-800 and a pair of Mesa Subway 115s. Two channels, great tube tones from vintage to modern, plenty of volume and punch, and the best 15" speakers I've ever played. Often, I only need one cab. Either way, everything is light weight and easy to carry in & out.
I heard the TT 800, WD 800, and the D 800+ are phenomenal.
