I'm predominantly a short scale player, but when it comes to picking in the garden I'm all about the 34+" long/extra-long scales. How about you guys?

My garden is totally organic, so an acoustic bass guitar is the only way to go. I like a 32" scale (far right) for tomato and peppers, but prefer a 34" (left or middle) when I lift the potatos.

Ooo nice, is that an Earthwood there on the right? I've always wanted to try one. I've owned a Thunderchief in the past - liked it but prefer short scales, so currently own a Guild B30e, which is a fun acoustic that projects really well!

Took me a while to get the soil conditions right, but once I did...

Now that looks like a profitable farming concept right there! Though watering might be tricky... soakerhose under the soil? Probably have to protect them from the rain too and be sure to keep those fretboards oiled in direct sunlight! Unless the carrots absorb all the sun before it reaches the bass crop?

My dad grows those beans every year!

Nice, we love them here and grow them every year too! Most commonly called "yard-long" beans (though they typically don't quite reach yard-length for us like this one did) but they taste great. We fry them up with onions and hot peppers. Super tasty!

On a sidenote, I checked out your Supadope site. Truly is Supadope! Some rad content to explore there!

But…how long are your carrots?

The carrots aren't about length, but rather the deep V shape and 12" radius 🧑‍🌾
