Bi-amp/Dual Amp Signal and One Dry Signal

Hi,
I'm running 3 output on my pedalboard, like this:

Bass >> Comp >> DI ----->> Dry Output
Thru from DI >> Hx stomp >> 2 Wet Signal (2 output)

I set my 2 signal on HX stomp in dual mono. Most presets I create are Bi-amp or Dual amp, with one amp and cab block on each signal. I don't run crossover, just Y split, with one amp focused on light low crunch, and another focused on mid high crunch.

My questions:
1. Does my setup work efficiently? or it's redundant for clean signal because the Bi amp/Dual amp setup on my HX Stomp.
2. If its effective and efficient, is it okay for me not to run crossover signal. I know it's blended perfectly when I use crossover, but I think Y split works fine to me. Maybe is there any ocassion or your experience about the split?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds a little complicated. It also sounds like it has little to do with Amps & Cabs, but I don't know what other Forum it fits into either. Maybe Effects? I'm a guy who plugs directly into the input jack on an amp, so all I have to contribute is.... it sounds complicated. I do think if the Y split works with what you have, there isn't any reason to fret about not using a crossover.

Yes I run effects. I put effect like delay inside Stomp on the amp/cab signal that handle low or relatively clean (output 2), and some effects like chorus, reverb, and distortion on heavy-processed signal (output 3).

Do you like the sound? Is this intended as a live rig ?

if you like it it’s not like each output costs money to use and that there is some platonic ideal in less outputs. This setup is VASTLY simpler than my keyboard rig, let alone the spaghetti madness of most pa or recording setups.

oh yes - I the crossover inside the HX? If it’s free just try it out and see if it sounds better to you. Science!
