Blonde Necks

I read that the black guard blonde Teles were actually a natural, that turned a blonde look with age. Maybe people not really knowing or caring called the maple neck blonde since it looked like the body that was referred to as blonde.

Maybe a good guess.

I just found out the other day what a "nocaster" was - one with no name on the headstock.
 
It's what they called natural Gibbys back in the day and still do . It's what they used to called tele's back in the day as well a kind of see through offwhite , Not aged Oly white or Mary Kaye but close.. but I never heard it used for a Maple neck .
