Bridge help for 70s era Ventura Gibson EB-0 Clone

Hey Everyone! I was hoping to get a little help or any ideas on the easiest way to replace this missing bridge. I was given this Ventura bass with just the body and neck, so I am slowly gathering everything to piece it back together. From what I understand they're not super desirable as far as monetary value so I'm not looking to dump a ton of money into it, but none the less I think it'd be fun to play. I don't recognize the hole pattern on the body for what bridge had been there, or maybe a better question is what are some affordable options to replace it? Unfortunately I am out of my element on this one and welcome any input you all have. I attached a couple photos for reference. Thanks in advance!

Not exactly an expert....but.
I have a little experience with old gibson basses, so here goes.
It looks to me that its already had 2 different bridges on it already.
The 2 large holes were probably for a gibson style 2 point. You'd have to measure between them to be sure.
The smaller series of holes were for some other bent plate or such. The original owner probably swapped out the 2 point to be able to intonate better.
Lots of people did.
Hipshot makes a good , more user friendly, version of the gibson 2 point that might just mount up to the existing holes...if your lucky.
Measure the holes and check Hipshots website. Good luck!

That bridge, if you can even find one, will be several hundreds of dollars; also, other than bridge height, is not adjustable, it's not a decent bridge. The best reasonable substitute is the Hipshot two point bridge SuperTone Gibson replacement bridge. SuperTone Gibson® Bass Replacement Bridge

MY EB-3 LTD came with a Babicz 3 point bridge. It's ~250 USD Babicz FCH-3 Point Bass Bridge

Take a look at the hipshot two point bridge dimensions. It may fit. The mounting holes are also elongated so there is 1.6mm wiggle room available. https://docs.hipshotproducts.com/5G410_2_POINT_SUPERTONE_DIMENSIONS.pdf

That’s two votes for Hipshot ;).

Beware that the hipshot page doesn’t list the threaded inserts needed. You’d have to inquire with Hipshot on that point.

I can’t speak to the EB copies, but I have a Ventura Ripper clone that originally came with the 2 pt EB tuneomatic style thing, which was yanked at a weird angle and collapsed/bent in different directions. I’ve shamelessly copy/pasted from Flyguitars for the info.

I took a chance and it turns out the Supertone 2pt was a direct drop in (on). Note the shim just slightly visible under it…I called Hipshot and they sent me 2 different thickness for free! Quality customer service, for sure.

Sincere thank you to everyone for helping solve my mystery. It looks like a Hipshot Supertone is probably the best way to go, and I am certainly glad to hear they have good customer service. It looks like from the schematic that the 2 point should fit. I think the 3 point is slightly too wide by a few mm. I guess for a free body, I could stop being cheap and buy a decent bridge.

I have a Ventura EB clone. This is the bridge. Note the lack of compensation. Pretty rudimentary!
Thank you for posting this! It's really cool to see how it is supposed to look. I have had a hard time online trying to find an image of the same body with the input jack and knobs all in a line like that opposed to following the curve of the body or some other arrangement.

It’s

Keep in mind, the 3 pt isn’t just wider; the holes for the anchor studs are drilled in different places and would require drilling 3 new holes to ensure proper bridge placement. A 3pt installed in factory 2pt post holes would be so sharp on intonation as to be unuseable. The Supertone 2pt is the ONLY game in town for a drop in replacement for those 2 styles of 2pt Gibson bass bridges.
