Hi all
A while back I had the bridge on a Violin bass copy pinned, at the time I was happy with the Labellas on it and foolishly did not realise that curiousity would ge the better of me and I would be hit by string gas and want to try out every flatwound known to man.
I have managed to unpin the bridge but now am after a way to cover the holes were the bridge pins were, the one idea I have had is to fill the holes with match or toothpick material, press down flat and cover with a varnish of the same shade , has anyone got any ideas ?
