Brown or Tan pickguard

Has anyone seen any brown or tan Jazz pickguards for sale that are not Tort or Pearl? tried searching the forums here but all results point to brown tort (which all look red to me)

anyone know a source of plain brown or tan pickguard sheets so i could cut my own?

closest thing i have now is an old Squier guard that has either aged or was dyed but its more yellow

What color is your jazz bass?

I have a shoreline gold p bass that I think would look great with a brown pickguard of some sort (not plain brown). But, unfortunately just as you said brown tort has too much of a reddish hue to it. And brown pearl has too much of a bright amber colored look to it.

Depending on where you live, a plastic supply business would have most any colour (in sheet form in the appropriate thickness) you would want. In SF we have Tap Plastic and a pg sized piece would be pretty cheap. These would be single colours - not laminates.

that brown/cream/brown is pretty much what i was looking for. now to decide whether i really need to do this

thanks! im leaning more towards brown. not a big fan of gold anything except gold anodized over a black P-bass which is a great look

Then you could put a sheet of whatever colour you like behind it?
