Brutal Fret Buzz in only 7th Fret of the A String

I bought a used Spector bass about a month ago, after I set it up, I noticed a fret buzz in the 7th fret of the A-string. I’ve played around with the action a bit and the truss rod, but it doesn’t seem to be going away no matter what I do. Because of this, I’m assuming that the fret is probably either too low or too high compared to the rest of them, but I figured I would ask on here to see if there are any other solutions that I can do on my own without having to get it fixed by a store. Also I should probably add that this particular fret buzz is unbearable and very loud.
