My GK MB212-II died.
Had saved for something nice then car broke down and well, there goes the dream.
My one band is coming back from hiatus in 2 weeks and my Traynor SB115 dosent cut it with these guys.
My choice of used 4x10 cheapies are as follows.
Peavey Headliner
Fender Rumble (black version v2?)
GK Backline BLXII
I need volume/push more air and decent tone as well.
Can't try them all out as all are quite the drive to get to.
All experience and comments appreciated.
Amp I'm using is still up in the air but there's plenty of them around.

Why don't you just fix your GK? It will probably cost you less and will run circles around those cabs.
The entire board was toast, shop said almost as much to fix as buying another.
Sold the speakers out of it and tossed it.
Was going to get the GK MB410 but then life happens.
Too many kids in university to use credit.
Just trying to get through til tax time.

I'd almost always suggest a pair of
210 cabs (vertical) vs. a single 410.

About a year ago, one of the local dealers here in Winnipeg was clearing out their Peavey HL210's, so I ended up buying two of them for $300 CAD as my "budget rig".

I have yet to use both of them together as "4x10", though, as one sits at home while the other one is kept at church, where I use it for my stage monitor with my GK MB200.

I've noticed Eden 4 X 10s show up on Craigslist pretty regularly. They're still a great cab and lately very affordable. The nice thing about them is that they were originally pretty expensive so they were well cared for in the first several years of their lives.

Another great one to look for. But in my memory, they were about 100lbs. - part of the reason they ended up on the market.
