Buying a new bass, cant decide which one to buy

Im buying a new bass, ive narrowed down my choices to the music man sub ray4 and the iabnez sr300e. Im looking for a crunchy and treble sound,which both of these basses have, however i cant decide which one is better for the money and is more flexible - please help me decide
