Buying amps without playing through them(crate or acoustic?)

So I have been searching for a new amp.
On craigslist i found these:
a crate bx-100 for 130$(I bet i could talk him down to 100)
Another crate of the same model for 80$
An acoustic b200 for 100$
An ampeg BA115 for 115$ with a broken input jack (Don't really want it, but I've heard ampeg is good)

Here's the thing, these are all pretty far away from me, in a city on the other side of the state. My dad is going there this weekend on business, and he said he could pickup the amp if I bought it. however, I would not be able to try how it sounded(I could send him with a small thing to see if it worked though). The acoustic seems like the best deal, but it has no pictures and the seller doesn't say why he is selling it(it is also surprisingly cheap). The cheaper crate is the same way. The more expensive crate has a very detailed description and pics and looks very reliable. I haven't contacted any of these guys yet. Any advice?

Ive noodled around with Crate, never liked the tone, no depth with them.

The Acoustic B200R was the model of choice back in the day if I recall

Acoustic B200 VS Ampeg BA115

The BA115 is a moderately heavy workhorse of the small to mid size venue.

What part of Oregon? My mom's lives outside Grants Pass.

My first amp was an Acoustic b200. After playing every combo under 4 bills in GC, it was the clear winner. You could always flip it for the same amount (at worst), so as long as it's in good shape I don't see how you could lose
