Cabs similar to EBS?

I have an EBS HD350 and my favourite pairing when I was overseas was with a EBS Proline 410 (4ohm).

Unfortunately, I've moved back to Australia and it's pretty much impossible to source EBS cabs. So I'm searching for a similar (not necessarily "better") option.

I'm thinking that SWR, Marcus Miller Mark Bass or Bergs are the most similar options but keen to hear from people who have compared them against EBS cabs.

Not being a wise-guy but see if you can hatch a dialogue w/ Tal Wilkenfeld. EBS cabs were her go-to when performing with Jeff Beck. It may be a sponsored relationship but I'd bet she's been exposed to alt backlines t/o her career.

I have owned a bunch, and gigged some different EBS cabs, and I would say the big, nice tweeter in ProLine is an important element in their tone. The hole pattern for that tweeter is very close to the generic Foster/Fostex/PA Audio horn in Fender, GK, SWR and so on, so it can probabaly be used as an upgrade in an existing cab.
That said, I think ceramic SWR and some Warwick 410s are the ones that spring to mind for me, as being similar to EBS ProLine 410. On the other hand, many Ampeg, GK Neo series, Trace Elliot 410s sound very different.

EBS has dealers in Australia, contact them to order a cab. complain to EBS if they decline. this won't be fast, but will work

Thanks, I'll give that another go. I spoke to Bass Centre and they said they can't order them. EBS also said they won't ship me a cab direct because shipping costs are too outrageous (I paid $150USD to get a transformer shipped to me from Sweden so I shudder to think how much UPS would charge for a 210 or 410).

I think that SWEETWATER is an EBS dealer, but don't stock amps/cabinets. Could potentially get you a Special Order. Perhaps call the Customer Experience Team and they will check on it for you.

My GK RBH410 is the only cab I have that's very compatible with my EBS heads. My other cabs from Ampeg, Trace Elliot, Hartke and GK CX series doesn't bring out the full potential like the RBH does. Hope this helps

Sorry, I misread that you had been "overseas" and now are back in Australia.

I've owned the EBS Proline 410 and it's the heaviest 4x10" I've ever seen back in the 90's. It is also fairly tall for a 4x10" cabinet with a shelf port.

*Cabinets built since 2016, or prior to 2014, are all Birch. Cabinets built between 2014-early 2016 may be built of SPRUCE plywood with a BIRCH baffle, just like the NeoLine cabinets.

Basically everything apart from EBS. I can source Bergs without too much trouble!
