Can you recommend me a 212 cabinet?

I've been using the same 212 Bag End cabinet for 10 years. It's the perfect size for every gig I play. From stadiums to clubs I will never need more than 2 12s. But I would like to upgrade a bit. I've already replaced the speakers once in this cab and instead of doing that again I would rather just buy something that will sound amazing and last for another 8 to 10 years. We're looking at 150 to 200 gigs a year. Can you recommend something that will sound great and be a durable workhorse? I'm also not opposed to multiple speaker sizes, like one 12 and one 15 in the same cab for instance.

Blowing a 212 with standard neo bass drivers is not uncommon. They get loud but not LOUD and the marketing wattages are vulnerable to not keeping up with the corresponding amplifier wattages.

Get ready to cough up for an uber variety 212. Cheapest is DIY Fearful. AudioKinesis, Greenboy, LDS, Bearfaced are the main boutique operations I can remember this minute. All offering flavours of big subwoofers plus higher frequency drivers that take serious power and turn it into serious LOUD without breaking.

I seem to prefer 12's. Good quality 12's can exceed the performance of many 15's. I used a Bergantino 212 for a time, before that I had 3 Berg 112's. They make a fantastic sound. I moved them on for 2 Barefaced 112's, finally settling on a Super Compact and Super Midget.

I have officially moved into saving my back mode, and cannot recommend the Aguilar SL212 cab enough. Plenty of power for any situation, great tone, and variable tweeter control. One of the best cabinets I have ever owned. And its only 45 pounds!
