Good weekend everybody. Just looking for a compressor. My expiriences with comps is limited. Looking for some ekstra punch, evening etc etc, wouldnt mind if its not 100% transparent AS long as it adds said punch, warmth etc. Came over the opto and looks Nice, decently priced and not super inexpensive - middel of the road kinda. It Gets high regards on the Onvi site, cons for the housing whitch is now square. Seen little talks of this comp, so im wondering if it is a hidden gem?

Best regards

I would trust Bongo. Seemed like a good review.

I got my only couple of months ago, but like it very much so far.
I find it goes from transparent (centered input and output) to fatter or even "tubey" (pumped-up input, reduced output). Sounds best to me with low-medium ratio.
Bongo mentioned a little dull highs, but I didn't notice this, maybe because I play passive bass guitars.
Housing is a little big, but sturdy and looks nice.
Don't bother with battery, instead of simple plastic door you need to remove 4 screws and housing bottom. Also, pedal needs around 75 maH so battery lasts only couple of hours.
All in all, if you can get it at right price, I recommend this compressor highly.
