I remember a bassist in one of my old bands was so excited because he bought a 8x10 Carvin cab and head back in the late 80's or early 90's.

When it arrived and we tried it out in the band rehearsal it was a huge letdown. It basically had all the power of a weak fart without lacking any stench in tone.
