Carvin BRX 10.4 NEO - Drivers Recone

Hi all,
I am looking at a Carvin BRX 10.4 NEO cab, 1200 watts, 4 ohms
which I have heard great things about which may be up for grabs.

Can anyone give me any first hand information on these cabs?
What are the 10" drivers - which brand and model?
I want to make sure that the drivers can be reconed locally before making the purchase.

They are Carvin drivers. Even if someone like Eminence does the actual build, they are special order for Carvin only you can't get them anywhere else. Check with Carvin if they offer cone kits.

They are Chinese made. No recone kits, afaik. That said, my two BRX10.2 cabs works real well, with aftermarket drivers in them. I bought them both blown, from two different ppl. Great boxes. Stock drivers, not great.

Like most cabs if you power them at 1/2 the rating they'll last about forever. More than that and I get to point and laugh when you blow them . I've run a 10.2 off of a Aguilar TH-350. The tweeter came to me pre-blown (hate 'em anyways). If you plan to need the tweeter that'll be your weak point on the cab.
