Double Bass Case that will fit my new Shen Rogeri 3/4 Round Back Bass

I just bought a Shen Rogeri 3/4 Round Back bass. I have two cases. One is a Gollihur, which I really like, but it is starting to wear out. The Shen is a tight squeeze in the Gollihur bag, and will probably make the spitting seams worse. The second bag I have is even smaller, and I don't like it. I also tried a Bobelock case from the guy that sold me the Shen, and it wasn't even close to fitting.

So, I am looking for advise from other Shen Rogeri owners. Should I buy a 7/8 case? Or are other cases roomier for round back basses?

There is no significant difference in a "Roumdback" vs. "Flatback" bass case/bag. I've never seen a case/bag designated "for Round...." or "for Flat....".
The length, width and depth measurements are significant in getting a good "fit". Any manufacturer should provide these #'s to you for your sizing issues.
A tape measure is your friend.

Messina makes amazing bags. Below is their sizing chart. I have a brand new large bag for sale that is not a Messina but may work well for your bass at lesser $ if interested. Messina will make one specifically for your bass if one of the standard sizes don't fit. The construction is top, top, top notch. There are handles everywhere that there needs to be and the zippers are on top of the pockets WHEN THE BASS IS LAYING ON THE RIBS! Why aren't they all like that?

Another vote here for Messina - they made one for my Shen 190 hybrid, fits extremely well, you get to choose the color, and add features/handles if you wish. You'll spend a bit more than you would for a generic fit bag, but you'll have it for life.

I do have a Messina I bought for my Steinberger electric bass. It was getting damaged from the cheap cases by Steinberger and other knockoffs. I am quite happy with it. I also just ordered another Messina for my Prometheus amp. Don't have that one yet.
