Cast frame Eminence speaker from a Ross cabinet help

This shop has a pair of cast frame Eminence made 15 speakers....they have a huge ceramic magnet with a vented coil and the cone is a smooth cone with a paper dust surround.

Anyone know how suitable these could be for bass?

I am assuming they are similar to an EV type,,,,i couldn't accurately see the size of the voice coil but its at least 2"...possibly 2 1/2".

These came out of Ross PA cabs so I was told.

Any ideas?

If you can get numbers off of the magnets, you might be able to get specs from eminence themselves, they're pretty helpful like that, unless it's an OEM model, at which point they might say which speaker they currently sell is closest.

A few years back I contacted Anthony at Eminence about an OEM speaker from an old cab; while he couldn't divulge the exact specs that had been requested he gave me enough general information to be helpful.
