I usually play with a very clean sound and only have a chorus pedal I occasionally use. An awesome guitarist friend of mine is moving back to town and I want to do something a bit different. I was learning some new songs. One of them "waving my dick in the wind" by Ween off of the molusk. It has two guitars, one of them pretty much doubling the bass sound. I got a great sound by using the octave fuzz on my ME-50. Unfortunately it has no clean blend. So I'd like to be able to split my signal--one for bass and one for effected "guitar like" sound for occasional use. Don't want to spend more than say $150 CAD.
I may try just wiring each pickup to a separate output jack on my PJ bass. One volume for each pickup and no tone knob.
