Double Bass Cheap bow rehair?

I am not sure where to go with this.

I got a cheap german bow this summer as a gift. It is a brazilwood VingoBow
I am starting to like it more and more. But a rehair is the price of the bow it self, so I'm not too sure where to go.

Part of me would like to see where this bow could go with a good set up. But at the same time, I'm not sure people like to work on these bow.

If I was still playing as much as I used to. I think I would buy a good one. But I don't play as much as I'd like so this doesn't really seem like an option.

I think you should get it re-haired, especially as it is working well for you.
As all bows need re-haired if played enough and I doubt anyone would question you.
I also hear the Vingabows are quite good value.

Hi Silevesq,

some month ago I was very curious and bought a VingoBow Pernambuco Master Level with black hear. The bow itself was very nice, good balanced and well crafted but the hair was very poorly. I got it rehaired and my luthier hat to put a little bit more work in it, because the inner parts were made a little sloppy. But now it is a fine bow. So I really recommend a rehair!
