Hey, I have a neighbor who's always wanted to refinish furniture. Should I buy this bass and a can of furniture stripper, and have him strip it, sand it down, and refinish it?

Edit: Owner says it's an Englehardt; has outer linings, so must be a '70.

Darn it!

At a price I could have justified.

Have owned an NS designs CRM-4 for some time and an having a blast playing it...

Want to get a true Upright but can't justify the cost for the amount of time it would get played.

This one was way within a budget.. Even if it had issues

Even with it's issues it could have sold easily for twice that. I expected it wouldn't last the day, but it was gone in a couple of hours.
