Choosing among 10" Ampeg "SVT" speakers

Hello!

I have an oversized (17" x 24" x 12") closed-back 2x10 cabinet that I would like to imbue with some SVT flavor. To this end, I am trying to select among the Ampeg replacement speakers on full compass, but am stuck between the 810e classic (heritage being too rich for my blood) and 210av speakers. I understand that the 210av speakers would be the natural choice (given that my cab is a 2x10), but I have also heard great things about the 810e speakers. My cab is a bit larger than the 210av (4" "wider" if vertically oriented, and 1" deeper), and I understand the 810e is essentially composed of 4 sealed 2x10 cabinets, so I'm not quite sure which speaker would be best (or perhaps there's an even better alternative?).

Running through the cab will be my newly acquired 70's Ampeg V-2 head (2, 4, 8 ohm load capable), which I am absolutely in love with for both bass and guitar (I think you could run a kazoo through it and it would sound amazing) :). I would also like to try my pf20t head through this cab, though doing so would not be my priority, as the pf20t has its own 60's Jensen-c15n-equipped 1x15 cab.

Thanks for your help!
(Paging JimmyM...) ;)
