There is a used Clement Kim on Guitar Center's website:
https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/I...^359652449185-sku^113786769@ADL4GC-adType^PLA

It looks really fabulous, but as usual for most big stores, the information on the bass is lacking. I checked Tom's website, but this bass wasn't in the gallery section.

I was wondering what the scale length and string spacing are on this bass. Also, what's the body wood?

Given that this bass may have passed through a Talkbass member's hands, and that Tom is also a frequent poster, I thought this would be a good place to ask for more info.

That Clement Kim #381 is one of two basses Tom made for me. I was impressed with his builds and wanted to check out some different pickup and wood combinations. The Guitar center description is accurate but doesn't mention 34" scale with 19 mm spacing at the bridge and the body is black limba with a beautiful quilt maple top.
"5 piece flame maple and bubinga neck with fretted mac ebony board Nordstrand 3b4a preamp with active/passive tone and 500/800 hz switchable mids 3 nordstrand big split pickups 2 switches for mid/bridge. This product comes with a bag." (A $140 Protec bag.)

This bass cost me $2734 in December 2015 and was well cared for. Here is the link for my post in the TB classifieds which has additional information.
No longer available - Clement Kim #381
The 5-piece laminated neck with 5-bolt attachment provides a solid B-string with excellent sustain and the mac ebony board adds good clarity to the tone. I didn't have the patience to wait months for the right buyer but that's quite a bass for only $1299.
