Combo club wiki : thumbnails stretched horizontally at end of page

It turns out we don't need those images as they were thumbnail duplicates of the larger images. I removed all but two; I left those for debugging purposes.
I went to the wiki page and the thumbnails looked good. Bigger than expected, but properly proportioned. I then added a new thumbnail, saved it, and we were back to distorted images. I removed the new image and they are still distorted.
I just had this happen again in https://www.talkbass.com/wiki/thunderbird-manufacturers-and-models/ . It appears they keep their width but get squashed vertically to some arbitrary standard height.
