Comparing Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass USA to Reissue '75 CIJ

Hey guys! I just received this week a marvellous Fender Jazz Bass Reissue '75 CIJ from a fellow member here. I made a little comparison between this RI'75 bass and the Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass USA that I bought new in june.

I made a little video of both recordings done on my compurer, with Guitar Rig 5. Both bass tracks was recorded "clean", without any effects, and I put it on "Welcome to Paradise" drum track, from Green Day.

This was just for fun and comparing! Enjoy and comments are welcome (unless those comments are on my lame playing style - I'm really far from being a pro...)!!

Nice Job. I think I actually prefer the Reissue tone it seems a bit fatter. I have the US Geddy and an American build and love them both, what you capture sounds about right to me (fuller tones on the reissue).
BTW, your playing is just fine.

Great clip! I owned both and kept the Geddy, just because of the color/fretboard scheme.
