Hi everyone,

This is probably a fairly common topic, but I couldn't find an answer to it on the forum.

I've had a Zoom B3 for years and used it to practice with my headphones on for a long time.
After a while away from it I'd like to get back to it and connect it to my Macbook, so that I can not only hear myself playing in the headphones, but I can also listen to the songs from my laptop and play along.

I tried connecting the Zoom B3 to my Macbook through a USB cable, and it was able to get the power from it and turn itself on. The problem is that I'm not able to hear anything from the computer through the Zoom B3, as the songs are played from the Macbook speakers.

Could somebody please help me? What do I need to do to make this work?

Thank you in advance!

I use a small App called VTswitch. A small logo appears in the taskmenue bar, when you activate the App. There you can switch between all output and input options for audio and video global (for the whole Mac / for all programs without changing anything in the DAWs). Tipp: Connect your devices first and start the app aftereards (it does not refresh while running).

Did anybody try to connect his or her Zoom to a newer MacBook Pro with USB-C slot by using an adapter or adapter cable an can tell if it works?
