Connecting a WT-400 Eden Traveler + to an external power amp

I'm asking if anybody has experience with connecting the WT-400 Eden Traveler + to a power amp via the Headphone output on the
front panel. This would free up the fx loop jacks and the DI out jack for their purposes.
The manual says :
Headphone Jack as Line Driver
some occasions (such as high-volume or
outdoor situations) it may be desirable to
use the WT-400 along with an additional
power amplifier and added cabinets. A
standard shielded instrument cable may be
used to connect from the headphone jack of
the WT-400 to an unbalanced input of a
standard power amplifier. This will provide a
signal that is post EQ and master volume
controls, allowing the entire system to be
controlled from the WT-400.
If I understand correctly, I could drive my power amp.
But, but, but, I need the gain knob on the front panel to work in the chain. I need all of the knobs and switches on the front panel to work in this mode.
It has been a long time since anybody thought about such an Eden amp much less connect it to a power amp in the above fashion.
I really want to return to the Eden tone.
Have any of you done this ?

Thanks !

If you do this, pay attention to the part about unbalanced input on the power amp. Many power amps use 1/4” TRS balanced inputs so you MUST use a TS cable or it won’t work.
