Constant buzz on 8-11th frets G string

hey TB, I'm having an issue that I can't figure out. I'm getting bad buzz on the g string 8-11 frets. I've tried almost everything now. I have done a leveling twice and crowned them to my best ability with what I have, tried truss adjustments more relief, less relief, neck reset, adjusting action will make it go away slightly but it needs to be way higher than I'd like it to be. I took it to my tech and we straightened the neck out and raised the action and it just feels like the neck moves a lot it wasn't too bad, but the neck was too straight to where I was getting buzz on the lower frets so I added a little more relief. Everything in that general playing area of the 8-12th fret it's very buzzy on all the strings and feels very low but everything up past the 12th fret is totally fine. I think I'm going to be stuck with this buzz as long as I own this bass it seems like! Any help or tips would be appreciated!

Check the first fret that doesn't buzz 12th/13th for LOOSE or high fret. If it's loose superglue it down, then try again. Use the thin glue not the gel stuff, and very little of it.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I check for Loose fret ends with a piece of wood and nothing they seem to be in pretty good. I even tried tapping them down with a fret installer and a light hammer and no major changes.

If you're convinced there are no loose frets, then check for a high one. Find the first fret that doesn't buzz and check to see if it is high, using a fret rocker.

I had the 2nd fret replaced a while back and my tech did a leveling and everything was fine. I even leveled it again to make sure and still getting the buzz. I have no idea what is going on. Maybe a bad string?

That's what I was thinking. I've concluded a ski jump or maybe those frets are too low for some reason. I'll have to measure again just to be sure. I hope it's not a ski jump but usually they occur down near the very end of the neck where plate meets (from what I've seen anyway).
